12th-ranked West Chester University scored seven first half goals and went on to shut out Pitt-Johnstown, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon in West Chester, PA. The Lady Cats fell to 0-15-0 overall and 0-13-0 in the PSAC.Â
Dana Hunt opened the scoring in the 16th minute, before Marissa Valenti and Hunt added two more goals in the 20th and 21st minutes.   In the 34th and 36th minutes, Valenti and Cynthia Hagerty each scored, before Haley Mangiaruga scored a pair of goals to end the first half and put the Golden Rams up 7-0.

Scarlett Walsh and Laura Slavich each scored a goal in the 83rd and 90th minutes to close out the scoring.

Timi Shiock suffered the loss in goal for Pitt-Johnstown after making seven saves, before Leeann Gorman entered the match and made two saves. Â Camilla Greeby earned the shut out in net for the Golden Rams after making two saves. Â
West Chester improved to 14-1-0 overall and 13-1-0 in the conference.

The Lady Cats host a PSAC match against East Stroudsburg University at 2:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before hosting another conference match next Friday against Shippensburg University.
