Maddy Novak scored 20 minutes into the match and Lock Haven made it stand up in a 1-0 PSAC victory over the Lady Cat soccer team, Friday afternoon in Lock Haven.  Pitt-Johnstown dropped to 0-5-0 overall and 0-4-0 in conference-play.
 
Novak took Jamie Hunter's long pass into the box and beat Lady Cat goalkeeper Timi Shiock for the lone goal of the match.
 
Shiock faced 17 Bald Eagle shot and made eight saves, but allowed the one goal.  Michelle Cuomo earned the shutout in goal for Lock Haven after seeing just four Pitt-Johnstown shots and making three saves.
 
Lock Haven improved to 2-3-0 overall and 2-3-0 in the PSAC.
 
Pitt-Johnstown wraps a stretch of four straight PSAC road matches at Bloomsburg on Saturday and at Mansfield on Wednesday, before hosting a conference match against Edinboro on September 27 at 1 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
