The 18^th-ranked Mountain Cats wrestlers got falls in six of the 10 bouts, including one from Evan Link at 125 lbs. to start the match, on their way to shutting out Alderson-Broaddus (WV) University, 53-0, Friday night in the Sports Center.  Pitt-Johnstown made it four straight wins and improved to 5-1 on the season... The Mountain Cats started fast and never slowed down.  Pins by Link at 125 lbs. and sixth-ranked Sam Hanau at 141 lbs., sandwiched around a Malachi Krenzelak forfeit win at 133 lbs. gave Pitt-Johnstown a commanding 18-0 lead after bouts.
 
Link opened-up a 14-5 advantage early in the third period, before pinning Cody Buchanan at 5:59.  Following the forfeit at 133 lbs., Hanau came out and got a fall over Michael Stokes at 1:09.
 
At 149 lbs., Cole Landowski scored a 17-9 major decision over Jason West, before Steve Edwards pinned Keith Stednitz at 1:46 to increase the Mountain Cat lead to 28-0.
 
Pitt-Johnstown kept rolling.  Seventh-ranked Tyler Reinhart held off Logan Shurina, 4-2 at 165 lbs., and John Blankenship got a second period fall over Brian Ohl at 4:36 in the 174-lb. weight class to build the Pitt-Johnstown advantage to 37-0.
 
Adam Nickelson then pinned Garrett Onderko at 2:12, and Forest Tuttle scored an 8-0 win over Nick Nester at 197 lbs. to push it out to 47-0.
 
Pitt-Johnstown closed out the shutout with Zac Bennett's fall over Aerison Parrish at 1:51 in the 285-lb. bout to set the final at 53-0.
 
With the loss, the Battlers slipped to 2-4
 
Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC match against Seton Hill on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center, before traveling to Millersville for another conference match on January 24.
