The 18^th-ranked Mountain Cats wrestlers got falls from Corey Bush, Sam Hanau and Cole Landowski to build a 21-0 advantage to start the match on their way to a 30-15 PSAC victory at Millersville on Saturday.  Pitt-Johnstown made it six straight wins and improved to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC.  In the process, Head Coach Pat Pecora moved into third place on college wrestling's all-time wins list with 535.
 
After Evan Link gave the Mountain Cats a 3-0 advantage with a 5-3 win over Alex Baider to open the day, Pitt-Johnstown answered three consecutive falls to race out to a 21-point lead.
 
Bush pinned Sam Oberlander at 7:07 at 133 lbs. before Hanau, ranked sixth at 141 lbs., got a first period pin at 1:30 over Thomas Nulty.  The Mountain Cats then built the lead to 21-0 when Cole Landowski pinned Nico Demetrio at 3:44 in the 149-lb. bout.
 
Millersville answered with a pair of decisions at 157 and 165 lbs., but the Mountain Cats got big wins in the next two weight classes to increase their lead to 30-6.  At 174 lbs., John Blankenship scored a 10-0 major decision over Dmitry Callas and Adam Nickelson followed by winning a 15-0 technical fall over Ryan Nielson at 184 lbs. that put the match out of reach.
 
The Marauders continued to battle and scored a 7-6 decision victory at 197 lbs, and a six-point injury default win at 285 lbs. to set the final at 30-15.
 
Millersville is now 5-4 overall and 1-3 in the PSAC.
 
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Wheeling Jesuit (WV) on Friday January, 30, before returning home to host Lake Erie (OH) on February 6 at 7 p.m. and a tri-match with Ohio Valley (WV) and Tiffin (OH) on February 7.
