Jen Nihoff had a match-high nine kills to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-12, 25-15 sweep to open a pair of PSAC matches at Cheyney University on Saturday.  In the process, Pitt-Johnstown improved to 27-5 overall and 18-2 in the PSAC East to tie the school record for win in a season set in 2001.
 
Gabriell Carney collected eight kills and seven digs, and 
Madeline George had seven kills and two blocks for Pitt-Johnstown.
 
The Lady Cats also got six kills, eight assists, and five digs from 
Allison Mondorff and six kills, five digs and a block from 
Maura Brehl in the sweep.
 
Demitria Kuczala led the way with a match-high 21 set assists, while 
Jessica Dillon added 16 assists and eight digs.  
Delaney Roman had a team-high nine digs for the Lady Cats.
 
Alaiya cave and Virshae Campbell paced Cheyney with eight and seven kills, respectively.
 
The Lady Cats close out the regular season with a pair of conference matches at Cheyney University on Saturday, before opening the 2015 PSAC Tournament on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.Â
