After tying the school record for wins in a season just an hour earlier, the Lady Cat volleyball team got a match-high 10 kills and four blocks from Gabriell Carney to set the school record with by sweeping Cheyney University for the second time.  Pitt-Johnstown closed out the regular season at 28-5 overall, and 19-3 in the PSAC Eastern Division.
 
The Lady Cats swept Cheyney 25-13, 25-14, 25-14.
 
Along with Carney, Maura Brehl had eight kills and eight digs, and Jen Nihoff added six kills for Pitt-Johnstown.  Madeline George tallied five kills, and Haleigh Heaton chipped-in three kills and six digs.
 
Demitria Kuczala (19 assists) and Jessica Dillon combined (18 set assists) 37 set assists.  Dillon also had four service aces and four digs.  Brittany Saetre tallied five aces and 13 digs, and Bethany Leer had five kills and a pair of blocks.
 
Cheyney was led by Alaiya Cave's six kills.
 
The Lady Cats will open the 2015 PSAC Tournament on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center against an opponent to be determined.  If Pitt-Johnstown wins on Tuesday, the Lady Cats will play host to the PSAC Tournament Semifinals on Friday and Saturday.
