East Stroudsburg University built a 3-0 halftime lead with the help of a pair of goals from Shea Neal in a 6-0 PSAC victory over the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team, Saturday afternoon in East Stroudsburg.  The Lady Cats fell to 0-4-0 overall and 0-4-0 in conference-play.
 
The Warriors took a 1-0 lead on Laura Neira's header 16 minutes into the match, before Shea Neal found the back of the net behind Pitt-Johnstown goalkeeper Leigh Appolonia twice in the next six minutes.  Neal scored unassisted in the 29^th minute, then added another goal off of Alex Pickett's assist in the 35^th minute to give East Stroudsburg a 3-0 lead at the half.
 
Sammi Jo Hughes scored 36 seconds into the second half, and another goal off of a header by the Warriors, this time from Deere Vester in the 54^th minute, made it 5-0.
 
Leeann Gorman replaced Appolonia in goal for Pitt-Johnstown in the 63^rd minute and allowed East Stroudsburg's sixth and final goal of the day a minute later.
 
Appolonia faced 20 shots and made 10 saves for Pitt-Johnstown, but allowed five goals.  Gorman played the final 37 minutes, surrendered one goal..
 
Jules Harris and Brooke Powers combined for the shutout in goal for the Warriors.  Powers made one save on Pitt-Johnstown's lone shot of the day.
 
With the victory, East Stroudsburg improved to 3-1-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Lady Cats travel to Shippensburg University for a PSAC match on Tuesday, before returning home to host conference matches against Mansfield University on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and Millersville University on September 23 at 1:30 p.m.
