Box Score The Pitt-Johnstown soccer team opened the 2015 season with a PSAC match against Seton Hill University on Thursday at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. However, back-to-back goals from the Griffins with under 20 minutes left to play in the second half lifted Seton Hill a 2-1 win over Pitt-Johnstown.

Maura Koshute finished a cross into the box from
Rachel Fleming in the 15
th minute to open the scoring and give Pitt-Johnstown a 1-0 lead at the half.

It stayed that way for much of the rest of the match until Seton Hill got a goal from Breanna Novosel off of Emma Bearinger's in the 70
th minute that knotted it at one. Shortly after in the 72
nd minute, Emily LoPresti netted the game winning goal off of a free kick taken from the side of the box.

Leigh Appolonia suffered the loss in goal for Pitt-Johnstown after facing 20 Seton Hill shots and making 8 saves. Jessica Neill made 4 saves for the Griffins after seeing nine shots.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to face West Chester University in PSAC-play on Saturday, before hosting conference match against Clarion University on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.Â
