Eighth-ranked West Chester University used a pair of first half goals from Haley Mangiaruga and held a 27-0 advantage in shots on its way to handing the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team a 2-0 PSAC road loss on Saturday. Pitt-Johnstown slipped to 0-2-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference-play.
Mangiaruga opened the scoring for the Golden Rams in the 16
th minute, before connecting on her second goal of the day in the 26
th minute.

That was all West Chester would need. The Golden Rams did not allow Pitt-Johnstown to get off a shot, and held a 12-0 advantage in shots on goal.

Leigh Appolonia got the start in goal for Pitt-Johnstown, but allowed both goals and made one save over the first 26 minutes.Â
Leeann Gorman played the final 74 minutes in net and kept West Chester off the scoreboard. Gorman also made nine saves for the Lady Cats.

The Lady Cats host a PSAC match against Clarion University on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer field, before traveling to East Stroudsburg University for another conference match on Saturday.Â
