Bloomsburg University scored a pair of goals in the first 29 minutes and went on to shut out the Lady Cat soccer team, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  Pitt-Johnstown fell to 0-14-0 overall and 0-13-0 in the PSAC.
 
Bloomsburg opened the scoring just over 15 minutes in when Maureen Leis finished Jessica Milligan's cross into the box, before Jessica Supp's rebound goal off of Allie Camp's shot 13 minutes later increased the Huskies' lead to 2-0.
 
Bloomsburg goalkeeper Devon Haviland held that lead for the Huskies the rest of the way to earn the shutout.  Haviland saw six Pitt-Johnstown shots and was forced to make just one save.
 
Leigh Appolonia faced 16 Bloomsburg shots, allowed both goals, and made seven saves for the Lady Cats.
 
With the win, Bloomsburg improved to 6-6-2 overall and 5-6-2 in the PSAC.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will travel to a PSAC match at California (PA) on Wednesday, before hosting a conference match against Gannon on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
