Kyra Watkins' chip 41 with seconds left in regulation sailed just over the crossbar.

Appolonia took the loss for Pitt-Johnstown after facing 17 Slippery Rock shots and making 11 saves. Downs secured the shutout victory in net for the Rock, who improved to 7-4-0 overall and 7-2-0 in the PSAC, after seeing nine Lady Cat shots and making four saves.

The Lady Cats travel to Lock Haven for a PSAC match on Saturday, before returning home to host a non-conference match against Daemen (NY) on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
