Fifth-ranked East Stroudsburg broke open a 1-0 lead halftime lead with four second half goals on its way to a 5-0 PSAC victory over the Lady Cat soccer team on Saturday at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. With the loss, Pitt-Johnstown's record fall to 0-4-0 and 0-4-0 in the PSAC.

Carly Abbott's free kick goal in the ninth minute from 35 yards out opened the scoring and put East Stroudsburg in front.

The Warriors made it 2-0 in the ninth minute of the second half when Alex Pickett finished a through ball from Brielyn Hackett. Â East Stroudsburg then scored in the 61
st minute on a pass from Prickett to Daniella Cary who found the back of the net, increasing it to 3-0.

st minutes to close out the scoring and setting the final at 5-0.

Leigh Appolonia faced 35 Warriors' shots, allowed all five goals, and made 14 saves for Pitt-Johnstown. Jules Harris and Brooke Powers combined for the shutout in net for East Stroudsburg after seeing four shots. Neither goalkeeper was forced to make a save.

The Lady Cats will host a PSAC match against Shippensburg onTuesday at 1:30 PM, before traveling to conference matches at Mansfield on Saturday and Millersville on September 21st.
