Indiana University (PA) opened-up a 2-0 halftime advantage and added an insurance goal in the second half to upend the Lady Cat women's soccer team, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Lady Cats fell to 0-8-0 overall and 0-8-0 in the PSAC.

McKenna Keffel's breakaway goal off of Lexie Palluconi's through ball from midfield put IUP up 1-0 15 minutes into the match.

Seven minutes later, Megan Coyne finished a penalty kick to make it 2-0, Crimson Hawks at the half.

Palluconi netted her own goal in the 64
th minute and set the final at 3-0 when she found the top right corner of the net from Kiersten Zerbe's pass into the box.

Leigh Appolonia took the loos in net for Pitt-Johnstown after allowing all three goals and making nine saves in the first 75 minutes.Â
Maria Mosquera played the final 15 minutes and did not allow a goal or have to make a save.

The Crimson Hawks, who improved to 6-3-0 overall and 5-2-0 in the PSAC, got a shutout in goal from Jessica Printz. Printz saw 10 Pitt-Johnstown shots and made four saves.

The Lady Cats host a PSAC match against 19th-ranked Edinboro on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before traveling to Mercyhurst for another conference match on Saturday.
