
With three seniors playing their final home match, the Mountain Cats team took the field on Friday looking for the season's first victory. It turned out to be a good day for Pitt-Johnstown, as
D.J. Vogelman's first half goal held up in a 1-0 Mountain Cat victory. Pitt-Johnstown, which moved to 1-14-1, also got seven saves from senior
Nate Kleya, then nation's leader in that category.

The Mountain Cats, who were outshot 22-10, notched the match's lone goal in the 22
nd minute when Vogelman finished
Alex Laslavic's long throughball.

Kleya did the rest in goal for Pitt-Johnstown. Kleya faced 21 Washington Adventist shots and made seven saves to preserve the shutout win.

Reynero Pacheco took the loss for the Shock after allowing one goal on 10 Mountain Cat shots. Pacheco made a pair of saves.

With the loss, Washington Adventist slipped to 10-6-0 on the year.
