The Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team fell behind by three goals in the first-half and suffered a 4-0 PSAC loss to Slippery Rock University, Wednesday afternoon at Pitt-Johnstown's Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats fell to 0-8-1 overall and 0-5-0 in the PSAC.
Tyler McCarthy opened up the scoring for Slippery Rock on a header assisted by Kyle Boyer in the 16
th minute, before George Oakley scored on a shot from the top of the box five minutes later to make it, 2-0.
With just two minutes left in the opening half, Kenton Keeslar scored his first goal of the year on a shot from the middle of the box off of Oakley's to give The Rock a 3-0 halftime advantage.
Slippery Rock then added a fourth goal in the 80
th minute when Brady Sittinger tapped in Keesler's assist.

Nate Kleya took the loss for the Mountain Cats. Kleya faced 27 shots, made 10 saves, and allowed four goals.
Slippery Rock's Jonathan Sharp and Matt Hunsberger teamed-up in net to shutout the Mountain Cats. The two combined to see eight Pitt-Johnstown shots and make ne save.
The Mountain Cats travel to a PSAC match at Shippensburg University on Saturday, before traveling to Amherst, NY for a non-conference match at Daemen College on Tuesday.
