Caitlin Vrabel and
Noelle Carota each had seven kills to lead the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team to a lopsided 25-5, 25-4, 25-7 PSAC victory Friday night at Greater Johnstown High School. The Mountain Cats improved to 14-4 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC Central Division.
Pitt-Johnstown dominated in every aspect of the match. The Mountain Cats held a 37-4 advantage in kills and finished with 25 service aces, including eight from Coco Cordenbrock and seven from
J.C. Longeville.
Vrabel finished with seven kills in 11 attacks, one block, and five aces, while Carota had seven kills in 10 attacks to lead the Mountain Cats.
Pitt-Johnstown also got six kills apiece from
Cambria Wierman and
Kendall Mahony and five kills from
Marissa Erminio.
Allison Mondorff added four kills and four assists.

Longeville collected a match-high 17 set assists to go along with her seven aces, and Kordenbrock 11 assists and eight aces.
Alaiya Cave and Jamera Stanciel each had a pair of kills from Cheyney, which fell to 0-11 overall and 0-5 in the PSAC Southeastern Division.
Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC match against West Chester on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Forest Hills High School, before traveling to a conference match at Lock Haven on Tuesday.
