Matt Karlheim finished fourth in the 200-Meter Dash and fifth in the 60-Meter Dash to pace the Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team at Friday and Saturday's 2018 Bucknell University Bison Open.

Karelheim's time of 22.1 in the 200-Meter Dash was good enough for fourth-place, while his 7:06 in the 60-Meter Dash earned him a fifth-place showing. Both times qualified him for the 2018 PSAC Indoor Championships.

Along with Karlheim,
Brian Lehman was fifth in the Weight Throw and qualified for the PSAC Championships with a school-record throw of 51'1".

John Knox placed sixth in the Heptathlon,
Luca Pugliano was eighth in the 800-Meter Run (1:59.22), and
Jayshawn Whitfield finished eighth in the Triple Jump (40'8.25").

In addition, the Mountain Cat 4x400 Relay Team of
Andrew Downey,
Turner Paul, Karlheim, and Pugliano placed eighth with a time of 3:32.27.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Youngstown State (OH) University Invitational on Friday and Saturday and to the Kent State (OH) University Invitational on February 17.
