WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. — The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's track and field teams enjoyed multiple top 10 finishers while competing in the Monmouth Home Opener on Friday and Saturday at Kessler Stadium.
Those performances were highlighted by Domenion Jacobs winning the 400-Meter Hurdles at 53.64 and junior Ryan Porch, who leapt 6.25 meters to take fifth out of 12 competitors in the men's long jump.
Freshman Derek Christeleit placed seventh out of 13 in the men's javelin throw with a toss of 49.75 meters. Fellow freshman Logan Ilnicki was ninth with a throw of 44.60 meters.
Freshman Tyler Harold ran the 400-meter dash in 50.30 seconds to place seventh out of 35 competitors.
Sophomore Audra Fedor enjoyed a eighth place finish out of 24 competitors in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:20.56.
Athletes from both teams will compete in Ohio University's Cherry Blossom Invitational on Friday, April 3.
