Pitt-Johnstown enters the weekend at 11-10 overall and 5-4 in the PSAC Central Division following Wednesday's non-conference sweep over Point Park.  Maura Brehl's 14 kills and 14 digs paced the Mountain Cats.  The Mountain Cats also swept a PSAC match from Millersville last Friday and suffered a five-set conference loss to West Chester on Saturday.

Lock Haven, 8-10 overall and 3-6 in the PSAC Central under third-year Head Coach Shannon Gerencir, had its three-match winning streak snapped following Saturday's four-set home loss to Kutztown.  Gabrielle Stick had 14 kills to pace the Bald Eagles.

Last season, Pitt-Johnstown swept a pair of PSAC matches from Lock Haven.  On October 10, Marissa Erminio had 14 kills and Noelle Carota added 11 kills in a 25-18, 25-18, 25-18 Mountain Cat sweep in Lock Haven.  Less than a month later on November 7, Pitt-Johnstown got 14 more kills from Erminio on its way to a 25-12, 25-16, 25-15 sweep in the Sports Center.

Bloomsburg is in its first season as an NCAA Division II sport and is 5-13 overall and 1-8 in the PSAC Central.  Coach Dan Kreiger's Huskies picked up their first PSAC win by sweeping Kutztown last Friday.  Sarah Gomish finished with a match-high 15 kills for Bloomsburg.  The Huskies then suffered a four set loss to East Stroudsburg on Saturday.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to PSAC matches at Gannon and Mercyhurst next weekend, before returning home to host conference matches against Edinboro on October 26 and Slippery Rock on October 27.
