Abby LaDuke netted a pair of goals and 
Kyra Watkins picked-up three assists to lead the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team to a convincing, 3-0, non-conference win at Alderson-Broaddus (WV) University, Tuesday night.  The Mountain Cats improved to 5-10-0.
 
LaDuke finished Watkins' first assist off of a corner kick in the 31
st minute to open the scoring and give Pitt-Johnstown a 1-0 halftime advantage.
 
The Mountain Cats made it 2-0 less than three minutes into the second half when 
Maddie Ivory scored off of another assist from Watkins, before LaDuke netted her second goal of the night off of Watkin's third assist in the 63
rd minute.
 
 Maria Mosquera
Maria Mosquera earned the shutout and her first victory of the season in net for Pitt-Johnstown.  Mosquera saw 12 Alderson-Broaddus shots and made six saves.
 
Diyonus Walls suffered the loss in goal for the Battlers after facing 13 Mountain Cats, making three saves, and allowing all three goals.
 
With the loss, Alderson-Broaddus dropped to 1-15-0 on the year.
 
The Mountain Cats will celebrate Senior Day with a PSAC match against No. 15 Bloomsburg on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., before hosting a conference match against Edinboro on October 24 at 3 p.m. to close out the 2018 home schedule.
