Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter Maura Brehl made it a 3-peat when she was named PSAC Central Volleyball Athlete of the Week when this week's awards were announced by the conference office on Tuesday.  Brehl, who averaged 15.5 kills, 9.0 assists, and 2.5 blocks in two PSAC matches, was also named the Central Division's Athlete of the Week on October 9 and October 16.

In Friday's three-set loss at 31st-ranked Gannon University, Brehl had team-highs of nine kills and 10 points, along with six digs and a pair of blocks.

She followed that effort up with match-highs of 22 kills and 23.5 points in a four-set Pitt-Johnstown victory at Mercyhurst on Saturday.  Brehl also had a dozen digs and three blocks against the Lakers.
