Appolonia took the loss in net for Pitt-Johnstown despite making 15 saves on 26 Edinboro shots.
The Fighting Scots, who improved to 6-10-0 overall and 5-10-0 in the PSAC, got a shutout in goal from Anna Voelker. Voelker saw 11 shots from the Mountain Cats and made seven saves.
The Mountain Cats will close out the 2018 season with a PSAC match at 12th-ranked Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
