The Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team will kick-off a stretch of five consecutive home dates with PSAC Crossover matches against Millersville University on Friday at 7 p.m. and West Chester University on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be played in the Sports Center.

Pitt-Johnstown is 9-9 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC Central Division after snapping Shippensburg's 15-match winning streak with a five-set road victory on Tuesday.Â
Maura Brehl had a match-high 21 kills and 29 digs to lead four Mountain Cats who finished in double figures. Pitt-Johnstown also got 16 kills, 14 digs, and three blocks from
Noelle Carota, 13 kills from
Caitlin Vrabel, and 11 kills and six blocks from
Anna Johns.

Head Coach Brian Smith's Millersville Marauders come in at 9-7 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC Southeast Division following Tuesday's five-set loss at West Chester. Jayci Suseland finished with a match-high 23 kills, and Lindsey Blevins added 15 kills for the Marauders. Millersville also swept conference matches from Lock Haven and Bloomsburg last weekend.

Last season, the Marauders swept Pitt-Johnstown in Millersville behind Blevins' 15 kills and Erin Harman's 12 kills. Brehl and Carota had nine and eight kills respectively for the Mountain Cats.

West Chester, under Head Coach Kassie Bellaver, is 16-2 overall and 5-3 in the PSAC Southwest Division. The Golden Rams also play at Shippensburg on Friday. West Chester split a pair of PSAC matches against Lock Haven and Bloomsburg last weekend, before holding off Millersville in five sets on Tuesday. Julie Vreeswyk had 17 kills and Rachel Robb collected 15 kills to pace five Golden Rams who finished in double figures in kills against Millersville.

In last year's meeting, West Chester got 13 kills from Abbie Dishert to lead the Golden Rams to a 3-sets-to-1- victory over Pitt-Johnstown. The Mountain Cats were led by Brehl's 12 kills and
Kendall Mahony's eight kills.

Pitt-Johnstown will close out a stretch of five straight home matches with a non-conference match against Point Park on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and PSAC Central Division matches against Lock Haven and Bloomsburg next Friday and Saturday in the Sports Center.
