The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's soccer teams will host a PSAC doubleheader against Shippensburg University, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown soccer field. The men will kick-off at noon, with the women's game to follow at 2:30 p.m.

Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cats fell to 2-8-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the PSAC after Wednesday's 4-0 loss at Slippery Rock. The Rock broke a scoreless halftime tie with four unanswered second half goals. Pitt-Johnstown also suffered a 1-0 non-conference loss at Shepherd (WV) and a 3-2 setback at Washington Adventist (MD) last weekend.

th season) Shippensburg Raiders have won four straight matches and are 8-2-0 overall and 4-1-1 in the PSAC. Shippensburg, receiving votes in the NSCAA National Poll, defeated Seton Hill, 2-1, last Saturday and Bloomsburg, 2-1, on Wednesday.Â
Cole Kropnick and
Patrick Luebben accounted for the Raiders' goals in Wednesday's win over the Huskies.

Last season, Kropnick scored less than a minute into the match, and
Jan Striewe added a goal 11 minutes later in the Raider's 2-0 victory in Shippensburg on October 7.

Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC match against East Stroudsburg next Friday at 3:30 p.m., before traveling to conference matches at Seton Hill on Oct. 14 and at California (PA) on Oct. 17.

Coach Vito Addalli, suffered a 2-1 loss at Slippery Rock on Wednesday.Â

th minute tied it, but The Rock answered with the match-winner four minutes later. Pitt-Johnstown also defeated Clarion, 1-0, on
Sam Roberts goal on September 26.
Coach Rob Fulton's (3rd year) Raiders, 5-5-0 overall and 4-5-0 in the PSAC, have lost four straight matches, including a 2-1 overtime setback to Seton Hill last Saturday and a 3-0 loss to Bloomsburg on Wednesday.
Last year,
Marisa Lizins and
Kaitlyn Eckley scored first half goals to give Pitt-Johnstown a lead, but Shippensburg scored four unanswered goals, including a pair from
Izzy Weigel, in a 5-2 Raiders' win.
Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC match against East Stroudsburg on Friday at 1 p.m., before traveling to a conference match at Seton Hill on October 14.
