The Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team will continue its five-match home stand with a non-conference match against Point Park University, Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center

Pitt-Johnstown comes in at 10-10 after splitting a pair of home PSAC matches last weekend. On Friday,
Maura Brehl, this week's PSAC Central Volleyball Athlete of the Week, and
Noelle Carota each had 18 kills, and
Caitlin Vrabel added 11 kills in a 25-20, 27-25, 31-29 sweep over Millersville. On Saturday, West Chester rallied for a five-set victory over the Mountain Cats despite a match-high 25 kills from Brehl and 12 kills apiece from Carota and Vrabel.

Head Coach Bridget Bielich's Point Park Pioneers have won six straight matches and enter Wednesday's action at 12-6. Point Park swept Rio Grande (OH) 25-14, 24-19, 24-18 on Friday behind 11 kills from Ashley Taylor. The Pioneers then dealt West Virginia Tech a four set loss on Saturday. Jordan Dixon had a match-high 16 kills, while Erica Gumz and Taylor chipped-in 13 and 10 kills, respectively.

Last season, Pitt-Johnstown traveled to Pittsburgh on September 5 and held off the Pioneers in five sets.Â
Marissa Erminio led the Mountain Cats with 13 kills. Taylor had a match-high 25 kills to lead Point Park.

Pitt-Johnstown will close out its home stand with PSAC Central Division matches against Lock Haven on Friday at 7.m. and Bloomsburg on Saturday at 1 p.m.
