Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter Maura Brehl was named the PSAC Central Division Volleyball Athlete of the Week by the conference office on Tuesday after averaging 21.6 kills and 19.3 digs per set and in three PSAC matches last week.

Last Wednesday, Brehl had a match-high 22 kills, 29 digs, and two blocks and hit .339 in Pitt-Johnstown's five-set victory that snapped Shippensburg's 15-match winning streak.

Brehl followed that up with 18 kills and 14 digs in a sweep over Millersville on Friday, before wrapping up the week with 25 kills, 15 digs and a block in a five-set loss to West Chester Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center.
