The Pitt-Johnstown men's basketball team returns home to host a non-conference game against Carlow University, Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
The Mountain Cats, under 30

Head Coach Bob Rukavina, come in at 3-2 after splitting a pair of games at last weekend's IUP Thanksgiving Classic. On Friday's
Josh Wise had a game-high 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists to lead six Mountain Cats who scored in double figures, but Le Moyne (NY) outlasted Pitt-Johnstown 102-99 in three overtimes. The Mountain Cats rebounded with a lopsided 82-54 victory over the University of the Sciences on Saturday.
Jared Jakubick and
Wise each scored 15 points, while
Fred Mulbah had 10 points and six assists for the Mountain Cats.
Prior to Tuesday's game at Point Park University, fourth-year
Head Coach Tim Keefer's Carlow Celtics had lost their last 10 games after winning their season-opener, 88-71, over Bryant and Stratton (NY) College. Carlow also dropped a pair of games at last weekend's Tiffin (OH) Holiday Classic.
Brenlee Reedy had 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists in a 141-81 loss to the hosts on Friday. On Saturday, Urbana (OH) dealt the Celtics a 125-82 setback.
Reece Henneman scored 19 points and
Tony Acrie added 17 points and 15 rebounds to pace Carlow.
Pitt-Johnstown and Carlow have met on four other occasions and the Mountain Cats have won all four, including a 93-67 win last season in the Sports Center on November 28.
Tony Acrie scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds, and
Miles Sunder and
Swade Redman had nine points each for the Celtics.
Marcin Wiszomirski's game-high 22 points and seven rebounds paced Pitt-Johnstown.
The Mountain Cats travel to PSAC games at Mansfield and Shippensburg on Saturday and Sunday, before returning home to host a PSAC game with the women's team against Kutztown on December 8 at 3 p.m. Pitt Johnstown will also host a non-conference game against Cheyney on December 18 and a PSAC doubleheader with the women against Millersville on December 19. Both doubleheaders are scheduled for 5:30 and 7:30 in the Sports Center.
