Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter Maura Brehl, a four-time PSAC Central Division Player of the Week, was named First-Team All-PSAC Volleyball when this year's teams were released on Thursday.
 
Brehl, a native of York, Pa. and a graduate of Suburban York High School 2018 First-Team All-PSAC earned four consecutive PSAC Central Division Athlete of the Week honors in 2018 on her way to leading Pitt-Johnstown team in kills per set (3.68), kills (430), points (482.5), points per set (4.12), and digs (369).  Brehl also finished third on team in blocking with 11 solo blocks, 45 block assists, and 56 total blocks.
 
Nationally, Brehl ranks 24^th nationally in total kills, 54^th in kills per set, and 57^th in points per set.
 
In 2016, Brehl was tabbed Third-Team PSAC Central, and in 2015, she earned PSAC East Freshman of the Year honors.

Seton Hill sophomore Viktoria Farian has been named the 2018 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Volleyball Athlete of the Year, while Clarion redshirt-sophomore Chrissy Cotton claimed the Defensive Athlete of the Year award.  Gannon's Lauren Sampson garnered the Freshman of the Year award and Golden Knights' Head Coach Matt Darling was named the PSAC Coach of the Year.
