Josh Wise was named the PSAC West Men's Basketball Player of the Week and
John Paul Kromka earned his second PSAC West Freshman of the Week honor when this week's awards were released by the conference office on Monday.

In three games this week, Wise averaged 20.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
On Wednesday, Wise, a native of Washington, Pa. and a graduate of Washington High School, scored 17 points on 8-10 shooting, grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists, and made two steals in Pitt-Johnstown's lopsided 129-69 victory over Carlow University in the Sports Center.
Wise then opened PSAC-play with a game-high 23 points, six rebounds, three steals one block and one steal in Saturday's 85-70 win at Mansfield, before scoring 22 points, pulling down four rebounds, and handing out one assist in Sunday's narrow loss at No. 20 Shippensburg.

Kromka, who was also named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week on November 19, finished with 15 points on 7-9 shooting, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal against Carlow on Wednesday.
He followed that up with seven points, nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and three steals in his PSAC debut at Mansfield, before posting career-highs of 20 points (10-15 FGs) and 12 rebounds in Sunday's 76-71 setback at Shippensburg.
The Monroeville, Pa. native and Gateway High School graduate, averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.0 blocks in Pitt-Johnstown's three games.
