The Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team will host a PSAC match against Clarion University on Wednesday at Johnstown's Point Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
This match was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, but had to be moved to Point Stadium due to poor field conditions on campus as a result of the recent heavy rains.
Pitt-Johnstown, 3-6-0 overall and 3-5-0 in the PSAC, looks to snap a four-match losing streak.
Coach Vito Addalli's Mountain Cats are coming off of a tough 2-0 loss at fifth-ranked West Chester on Friday and a 1-0 home loss to Mercyhurst on Sunday.
Fifth-year
Coach Sean Esterhuizen's Clarion squad has won its last two matches, including a 2-1 non-conference win at Ursuline (OH) last Tuesday and a 2-1 PSAC win at Mansfield on Sunday.
Veronika Noyszewski and
Dani McNally scored goals less than three minutes apart in the win over Mansfield.
Last year,
Anna Chamberlain scored 22 minutes in, and
Marina Kelly and
McNally added goals in the final five minutes to lift Clarion to a 3-0 win.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to a PSAC match at Slippery Rock next Wednesday, before hosting conference matches against Shippensburg on October 6 at 2:30 p.m. and East Stroudsburg on October 12 at 1 p.m.
