After averaging 23.5 points and 4.0 rebounds, and shooting over 70% last week, John Paul Kromka earned his third PSAC West Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week honor when the conference office announced this week's award winners on Monday.

In Wednesday's loss at Slippery Rock, Kromka scored a career-high 27 points on 10-16 shooting from the floor and 7-9 shooting from the free-throw line.  Kromka also grabbed five rebounds, blocked three shots, and made two steals.

Kromka followed up that effort with 20 points on 9-11 shooting a 2-3 from the charity stripe in Saturday's 85-70 victory over Seton Hill in the Sports Center.  He also had three rebounds, two assists, and one steal against the Griffins.

Kromka previously earned PSAC West Freshman of the Week honors on November 19 and December 3.
