th goal of the season, but Slippery Rock broke open a one goal halftime lead with second half goals on its way to a 5-1 PSAC victory over the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team, Wednesday afternoon in Slippery Rock. With the loss, the Mountain Cats dropped to 4-8-0 overall and 3-7-0 in the PSAC.

The Rock then regained the lead and took a 2-1 advantage into the halftime break on Ashley Rea's goal in the 40
th minute.
It didn't take Slippery Rock long to extend the lead. Just three minutes into the second half, Jordyn Minda took Brooke Riefenstahl's pass and beat Mountain Cat goalkeeper
Maria Mosquera, before Rachel Edge increased it to 4-1 in the 61
st minute.
The Rock tacked on another goal with under 10 minutes to play to set the final score at 5-1.
Mosquera faced 32 Slippery Rock shots and made 14 saves, while Rock goalkeeper Emma Yoder saw just four shots from the Mountain Cats and made one save.
With the win, Slippery Rock improved to 10-2-0 overall and 9-1-0 in the PSAC.
Pitt-Johnstown visits Clarion for a PSAC match on Saturday, before returning home to host a conference match against Seton Hill on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
