Women’s Soccer to Host PSAC Match Against Seton Hill on Wednesday

Johnstown, PA

The Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team returns home after a pair of conference road matches to host PSAC rival Seton Hill Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.

Second-year Coach Vito Addalli's Pitt-Johnstown team is 4-9-0 overall and 3-8-0 in the PSAC following a pair of conference losses last week.  The Mountain Cats suffered a 5-1 loss at Slippery Rock on Wednesday and a 2-0 setback at Clarion on Saturday.

Seton Hill, 5-7-0 overall and 5-5-0 in the PSAC under first-year Coach Zak Kruger, split two matches last week.  On Wednesday, the Griffins got goals from Amanda Banfield and Shamika Langevine in a 2-1 win at Gannon, but fell, 2-1, to Slippery Rock on Saturday.

On September 21, Pitt-Johnstown traveled to Greensburg and suffered a 2-1 loss.  Abby LaDuke's goal put the Pitt-Johnstown on top, but Seton Hill scored two second half goals, including one by Italia Biondi with 1:45 left that gave the Griffins the victory.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to PSAC matches at Mercyhurst on Saturday and Indiana (PA) next Wednesday, before hosting a Senior Day conference match against California (PA) on November 2.
