Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter Noelle Carota was named the PSAC Southwest Division Volleyball Athlete of the Week on Monday after averaging 14 kills and 12.3 digs per match in three Mountain Cat conference victories last week.

In Wednesday's four-set win at Indiana (PA), Carota had 11 kills, 15 digs, one assist, and one block assist, before adding a match-high 17 kills, 11 digs, and one block assist win a five-set victory at Bloomsburg on Friday.

Carota then closed out the week with 14 more kills and 11 more digs in Saturday's 3-sets-to-1 victory at Lock Haven.
