
Sixth-ranked Gannon University exploded for six first half goals, including three in the first four minutes of the match, on its way to dealing the Mountain Cat men's soccer team an 8-1 PSAC loss, Wednesday afternoon in Erie.
Alex Laslavic scored a goal for the Mountain Cats, who dropped to 2-9-1 overall and 1-5-1 in conference-play.

Lennox Crews' goal 1:26 into the match put the Golden Knights on top, before Tinashe Katsande and Ben Andrews scored in the third and fourth minutes to make it 3-0.

th minute, before Laslavic's goal off of a free kick in the final minute got Pitt-Johnstown on the scoreboard and set the final at 8-1.

Sage Parsley took the loss in goal for the Mountain Cats after facing 26 shots and making three saves.

Chandler Hallwood earned the win for Gannon, which improved to 13-1-0 overall and 6-1-0 in the PSAC. Hallwood saw six shots, didn't make a save, and allowed one goal.
The Mountain Cats host a PSAC match against California (PA) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and a conference match against Slippery Rock on Wednesday. Pitt-Johnstown will the celebrate Senior Day and end the 2019 season with a home PSAC match against Seton Hill on November 9.
