Marissa Shields' goal midway through the second overtime broke a scoreless tie and gave Edinboro a slim 1-0 PSAC victory over the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team, Saturday afternoon in Edinboro.  Pitt-Johnstown slipped to 3-6-0 overall and 3-5-0 in the PSAC Western Division.
 
Neither team was able to score over the first 105 minutes, but in the 106^th minute, Shield's shot from 10 yards out found the top of the net behind Mountain Cat goalkeeper Maria Mosquera to give the Fighting Scots the 1-0 victory.
 
Mosquera saw 16 Edinboro shots and made five saves, while Fighting Scots goalkeeper Anna Voelker saw seven Pitt-Johnstown shots and made four saves.
 
With the win, Edinboro improved to 6-2-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the PSAC Western Division.
 
Pitt-Johnstown returns home to host a non-conference match against Salem (WV) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before hosting a PSAC match against Gannon on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
