Kyra Watkins scored two goals, including a penalty kick goal just over a minute into overtime, to lift the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team to a 2-1 Senior Day PSAC victory over California (PA), Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  The Mountain Cats improved to 6-11-0 overall and 5-10-0 in the PSAC.
 
Prior to the match, Pitt-Johnstown recognized this year's seniors…Maddie Ivory, Danielle Lippl, Marisa Lizins, Maria Mosquera, Rachel Rogevich, Brooke Vollmer, McKendra Walker, and Kyra Watkins.
 
California (PA) notched the lone goal of the first half, in the 36^th, minute when Juliana Cruz finished a rebound off her own penalty kick.
 
Pitt-Johnstown tied the game four minutes into the second half on Kyra Watkins shot from the top of the box, off Abby LaDuke's assist.
 
It stayed that way until Watkins was fouled in the box 1:05 into overtime.  Watkins buried the penalty kick in to bottom right side of the goal to give Pitt-Johnstown the 2-1 win.
 
Mosquera faced 13 shots in goal for the Mountain Cats, allowed one goal and made four saves.
 
Reilly McGlumpy saw 15 shots from Pitt-Johnstown, made five saves, but allowed both goals.
 
With the loss, the Vulcans fell to 3-11-1 overall and 2-11-1 in conference-play.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will close out the 2019 season with a home PSAC match against Edinboro on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
