Pitt-Johnstown senior middle hitter Caitlin Vrabel was named Second-Team All-PSAC Volleyball and sophomore defensive specialist Erin Carmody earned a spot on the third team on Thursday when the conference office announced this year's honors voted on by the league's coaches.
 
Vrabel, a native of Chambersburg, Pa. and a graduate of Chambersburg High School, was named Second-Team All-PSAC after leading Pitt-Johnstown in kills (309) and hitting percentage (.322).  Vrabel was also second on the team in blocks with 63 and fifth on the team in service aces with 17.  Vrabel was also a Second-Team All-PSAC selection following the 2017 season.
 
Carmody, who set Pitt-Johnstown's single match digs record with 46 at California (PA) on November 16, secured a spot on the All-PSAC Third-Team.  Carmody, the PSAC Western Division Defensive Player of the Week on November 18, led the Mountain Cats in digs with 673 and digs per set at 5.70.  Her 59 set assists ranked third on the team and her 18 aces ranked fourth.
 
Nationally, Carmody, the native of Sewickley, Pa. and graduate of North Allegheny High School, ranked fifth in NCAA division II in total digs (673) and 23^rd in digs per set (5.70).
 
Millersville's Jayci Suseland was named the 2019 PSAC Volleyball Athlete of the Year, while East Stroudsburg's Trea-sure Ketter claimed the Defensive Athlete of the Year award.  Shepherd's ElyssiaSmith garnered the Freshman of the Year Award and East Stroudsburg's Kevin Rodgers was named the PSAC Coach of the Year.
