The top-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers used falls from Matt Siszka (125 lbs.), No. 2 Devin Austin (165 lbs.), Dalton Group (174 lbs.), and Tyler Oliver (285 lbs.) to bounce back from a tough loss to St. Cloud State with a lopsided 51-4 victory over American International (MA) to wrap up the North East Duals in Troy, NY.  The Mountain Cats are now 5-2.
 
Siszka got things started by pinning Jacob Marselli at 1:56, before No. 1 Tyler Warner and Jacob both won by forfeit to give the Mountain Cats an 18-0 lead.
 
After two-time defending National Champion Chris Eddins won a technical fall at 3:28 over Raul Matteo at 149 lbs., American international scored its only points when eighth-ranked JoJo Gonzalez defeated Jacob Smith, 17-5, at 157 lbs.
 
Austin pinned Ahmad Sharif at 1:14 at 165 lbs., and Group pinned Rafiq Conway at 1:14 to increase the lead to 35-4, before Bryce Biddle won a 14-4 major decision over Isaiah Colling at 184 lbs.
 
Pitt-Johnstown closed it out with a forfeit win by Mike Geyer at 197 lbs., and Oliver's fall at 1:57 over Raul Martinez at 285 lbs.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will compete in the East Coast Tournament in Troy, NY on Sunday, before traveling to a PSAC match at Millersville on November 16.  The Mountain Cats will make their 2019-20 home debut against No. 15 Kutztown on November 22 and Findlay (OH) on November 23.
