
After closing out last week with a career-high 28 points and 19 rebounds in Pitt-Johnstown's win at California (PA),
John Paul Kromka was selected the PSAC West Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season by the conference office on Monday.
In Saturday's 84-76 victory over the Vulcans, Kromka had a career-high 28 points on 12-14 shooting from the floor and 4-6 from the free-throw line and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds, including seven on the offensive end. Kromka also dished out five assists, blocked three shots, and made three steals.
Last Wednesday, Kromka scored 10 points, pulled down four rebounds, had five assists and one block in an 80-67 loss to third-ranked IUP in the Sports center.
Kromka was also named PSAC West Freshman of the Week on November 19, December 3, and January 28.
