Zach Zinn drove in all three runs to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 3-2 win over West Virginia Wesleyan in Saturday's baseball doubleheader opener in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Bobcats scored a run in the bottom of the sixth and held on for a 7-6 win to earn the split in game two. The Mountain Cats are 3-1.
Zinn doubled, tripled and had three RBI, while
Dylan Kerstetter accounted for the Mountain Cats other base hit in the opener.
Brandon Roxby got the win on the mound after holding the Bobcats scoreless over the first four innings. Roxby allowed just one hit and struck out six.
Ben Foose picked-up his second save of the year. Foose pitched the final 1 2/3 innings and fanned one.
In the nightcap, West Virginia Wesleyan scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a tie and go on to the 7-6 win.

Ray Watt took the loss in relief of starter
Joel Colledge after allowing the go-ahead run in the sixth. Colledge started and surrendered four runs on three hits in 4 1/3 innings.
With the split, the Bobcats are now 1-3.
The Mountain Cats travel to Mooresville, NC next weekend for a four-game series against Fairmont State (WV), before visiting Concord (WV) University for a three-game series on February 23 and 24.
