Brady Walker pitched a complete-game in a 7-2 Pitt-Johnstown victory in the opener, and
Lennox Pugh and
Scott Thompson drove in two runs each to help Pitt-Johnstown to a 9-3 win sweep a pair of non-conference games from West Liberty (WV) University, Saturday afternoon in Washington, Pa.

Walker, the PSAC West Pitcher of the Week, held the Hilltoppers to two runs on four hits in the complete-game effort. Walker, who improved to 4-0, also struck out nine and didn't allow a walk.

Scott Thompson tripled and drove in two to lead Pitt-Johnstown.Â
Ben Foose and
Colin Pasone each had two hit and an RBI, and
Zach Zinn tripled and drove in one.

In game two, the Mountain Cats used a three-run third inning and a four-run fifth inning to secure the sweep with the 9-3 victory.

Thompson doubled and had two RBI, and Pugh had two hits and two RBI for Pitt-Johnstown.Â
Tyler Smith,
Jack Shirk, and
Dylan Broderick each drove in a run, and Zinn had two doubles.

Dylan Heid raised his record to 2-1 after surrendering three runs on six hits over the first 5 1/3 innings. Heid fanned seven and did not give up a walk.Â
Eric Ford held West Liberty scoreless on three hits over the final 1 2/3 innings.
