Alyssa Hileman pitched a complete game in the circle to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 3-1 win over Ferris State (MI) University, Friday afternoon in Clermont, Fla.

Morgan Cannin and
Olivia Porter each singled to lead off the Pitt-Johnstown first inning, and Stubblefield followed with her second homer of the week to give the Mountain Cats a quick 3-0 lead.

Hileman held Ferris State scoreless until the sixth when Kodi Ramirez hit a solo home run, but that was all she would give up.

Hileman pitched a perfect seventh inning to secure the complete-game and improve to 2-0. Hileman allowed just one run on four hits, while striking a pair.

Stubblefield homered and drove in three, and
Ali Belgiovane went 3-for-3 for Pitt-Johnstown. The Mountain Cats also got two hits and a run from Cannin and Porter.

Ramirez accounted for three of Ferris State's four hits, including a double and the solo homer.

Connor Proctor took the loss after surrendering three runs on eight Pitt-Johnstown hits.

Pitt-Johnstown ends its trip to Florida with games against Saint Michael's (VT) and the University of Sioux Falls on (SD) on Saturday, before traveling to Millersville for a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday. The Mountain Cats are scheduled to make their home debut with non-conference doubleheaders against Edinboro on March 23 and Shippensburg on March 24 at V.E. Erickson Complex.
