Kristen Coffay pitched a complete-game, one-hit, shutout, and
Kristie Radvan added two hits, including a solo home run, to guide Pitt-Johnstown to a 6-0 victory over Saint Michael's (VT) College, Saturday morning in Clermont, Fla. The Mountain Cats improved to 5-4.
Coffay held Saint Michael's scoreless on just one hit in the complete-game effort. Coffay also fanned three on her way to improving to 2-1 on the season.
Pitt-Johnstown scored two runs in the top of the first inning.
Morgan Cannin walked, moved to second on
Olivia Porter's sacrifice bunt, and scored on a base hit by Radvan.
Ali Belgiovane then reached on a Saint Michael's error that allowed Radvan to score to make it 2-0.

In the third inning, Radvan connected for a solo homer to extend it to 3-0, before the Mountain Cats tacked on three more insurance runs in the fourth.
Lauren Gohacki's double plated Belgiovane, who reached on an error, and Gohacki scored on Cannin's ground out. Another Saint Michael's error put Porter on base, and
Jade Stubblefield followed with an RBI double that set the final at 6-0.
Radvan went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI, and two runs, and Stubblefield was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Pitt-Johnstown. Belgiovane had two hits and scored a run, while Porter and Gohacki each had hits and scored a run.
Stacey Walling also had a hit for the Mountain Cats.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Millersville for a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday, before making its home debut with non-conference doubleheaders against Edinboro on Saturday and Shippensburg on March 24 at V.E. Erickson Complex. Both home doubleheaders are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
