Josh Wise was named First-Team All-PSAC West,
John Paul Kromka earned a spot on the second-Team and Pitt-Johnstown won three of the four postseason major awards when this year's PSAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams, selected by the league's coaches, were released on Thursday.

In addition to being named Second-Team All-PSAC West, Kromka was tabbed the Division's Freshman of the year as well as the Defensive Player of the Year, while Head coach
Bob Rukavina was selected as the PSAC Western Division coach of the year.

PSAC West Athlete of the Year Jacabo Diaz (IUP) and PSAC East Athlete of the Year Anthony Lee (Kutztown) headline the 2018-19 PSAC All-Conference Teams.

Like Pitt-Johnstown, East Stroudsburg won three of the four major awards in the PSAC Eastern Division. Jakwan Jones was named the East's Defensive Athlete of the Year, while the Ryan Smith was the Freshman of the Year, and Jeff Wilson was the Coach of the year.

Rukavina, who was also the PSAC West Coach of the Year following the 2015-16 season, has led Pitt-Johnstown to five consecutive PSAC Tournament appearances and all four of the program's NCAA tournament berths. Rukavina, in his 30
th season, is the Mountain Cats' all-time "winningest" men's basketball coach with 585 career victories.

Wise, a native of Washington, Pa. and a Washington High School graduate, earned First-Team All-PSAC honors after leading the Mountain Cats in scoring at 17.9 points per game and is the team's second-leading rebounder at 5.8 rebounds per game. Wise, who stands in 19
th-place on the Mountain Cat All-time Scoring List, also ranks third on the team in assists (70), steals (37) and blocked shots (12). He was also a 3-time PSAC West Player of the Week choice in 2018-19.

Kromka, a Second-Team All-PSAC West choice was a four-time Freshman of the Week selection on his way to being named the Western Division's Freshman of the Year and the Defensive Player of the year. The Monroeville native and Gateway High School graduate led Pitt-Johnstown in field goal percentage (63.7%) and rebounding (7.7 rpg.), and is second on team in scoring (14.9 ppg.). He is also the PSAC leader in field goal percentage, blocked shots (76) and blocked shots per game (2.60). Nationally, Kromka ranks fifth in NCAA Division II in field goal percentage, seventh in total blocks, and eighth in NCAA in blocked shots per game.
