
The Pitt-Johnstown softball team busted out 10 hits and scored 11 runs to complete the sweep of Mansfield University Saturday afternoon. The Mountain Cats improved to 12-10 overall and 4-2 in the PSAC Central. Mansfield fell to 9-9 on the season and 3-3 in the PSAC Central.

Jade Stubblefield got the Mountain Cats on the board in the first inning when she double to right center field scoring
Morgan Cannin. Stubblefield would later come around to score when
Stacey Walling grounded out to make it 2-0.

Mansfield's Shaelyn Marx singled through the left side to make it 2-1.

In the fifth inning,
Kristie Radvan singled, scoring Stubblefield and
Olivia Porter.
Taylor Mendicino two-RBI triple pushed the Mountain Cats lead to 7-1. After a RBI-infield single from Cannin, Porter hit a three-run homerun down the left field line to make it 11-1.

Ashley Pagliei earned the win for the Mountain Cats. Pagliei went two innings, giving up one-earned run on two hits and struck out one.
Alyssa Hileman went three-innings in relief giving up just two hits.
