The Pitt-Johnstown women' soccer team will host a PSAC match against Clarion University Wednesday afternoon. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
Second-year
Coach Vito Addalli's Mountain Cats, 0-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the PSAC, are coming off of a 4-0 conference loss to Slippery Rock in Saturday's home-opener. Pitt-Johnstown also suffered a 5-1 loss at Gannon to begin PSAC-play last Wednesday.
Clarion, under first-year
Coach Afrim Latifa, slipped to 1-2-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the PSAC after Saturday's 1-0 double-overtime loss at California (PA). The Golden Eagles also dropped a 3-0 decision to Seton Hill last Wednesday.
Last season,
Sam Roberts' goal in the 85
th minute propelled the Mountain Cats to a 1-0 win over the Golden Eagles at Point Stadium.
The Mountain Cats travel to a PSAC match at Seton Hill on Saturday, before returning home to host conference matches against Mercyhurst on Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. and Indiana (PA) on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.
