Head Coach Pat Pecora, the 2019-20 NWCA Super Region I Coach of the Year, and eight Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cat wrestlers will travel to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls South Dakota to compete in Friday and Saturday's NCAA Division II National Wrestling Championships.   The top eight place winners in each weight class become NCAA Division II All-Americans.
 
The Mountain Cats claimed the program's 23^rd NCAA Regional Championship and came away eight national qualifiers from the Super Region I Tournament at Mercyhurst University on February 29.  This group included four regional champions, two regional runners-up, and a pair of third-place finishers.  All 10 Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers placed in the top-five at the Super Region I Tournament.
 
NCAA No. 3-ranked Brendan Howard (125 lbs.), true freshman Jacob Ealy (141 lbs.), NCAA No.1 and two-time National Champion Chris Eddins (149 lbs.), and NCAA No. 9 and 2019 All-American Brock Biddle (174 lbs.) all won regional titles.
 
In addition, 2019 NCAA National Champions Tyler Warner (133 lbs.) and Connor Craig (184 lbs.) finished second, while two-time All-American and eighth-ranked Devin Austin (165 lbs.) and Allan Beattie (285 lbs.) finished third.

Wrestling is scheduled to begin on Friday at Noon. EDT with the First Round (120 matches).  Session II will start on Friday at 6 p.m. EDT and consist of the Second Round Championship Matches and the First and Second Rounds of the Consolations (120 matches).
 
On Saturday, wrestling will start at 11 a.m. EDT with the Championship Semifinals, Third Round Consolations and the Consolation Semifinals (90 matches).  The Championship Finals are scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT (10 matches).
