Lauren Gohacki's RBI single in the third inning provided the game's lone run, and
Alyssa Hileman tossed a complete game in the circle to lead the Pitt-Johnstown softball team to a 1-0 victory over Lake Erie (OH) College, in Friday's opener in Florida. The Mountain Cats improved to 5-4.
Pitt-Johnstown had runners on first and second in the third inning and got a base hit from
Kristie Radvan, but the Mountain Cats weren't able to score.

However, in the third, Radvan singled and moved to second on a wild pitch. Gohacki followed with a single up the middle to plate Radvan with what proved to be the game's lone run.
Hileman did the rest in the circle for the Mountain Cats. Hileman pitched a complete game shutout and fanned one to preserve the 1-0 victory.
Radvan went 2-for-3 with a run, while Gohacki had an RBI single.
