Women’s Soccer Battles California (PA) to a 0-0 PSAC West Draw

Negri_Sachi.JPGAfter neither team could get on the scoreboard after 90 minutes of regulation and a pair of 10-minutes overtimes, the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team and California (PA) settled for a 0-0 PSAC West draw, Saturday afternoon at the Phillipsburg Soccer Complex in California.  Sachi Negri made eight saves for the Mountain Cats, now 5-10-2 overall and 4-9-2 in conference-play.
 
The Mountain Cats outshot the Vulcans, 18-12, including six from Emily Esser and four from Lydia Roman, but weren't able to find the back of the net.
 
Katie Ramaley made eight saves for California (PA) to preserve the draw scoreless draw.
 
The Vulcans are now 3-11-1 overall and 3-10-1 in the PSAC West.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will close out the 2021 season with PSAC Western Division matches at Edinboro on Wednesday.
